Vision

Open Energy Platform AG (OpenEP) is the leading natural gas procurement service provider for energy suppliers in Switzerland.

Mission

OpenEP procures natural gas and offers related services. Through a high degree of specialist expertise, efficiency and effectiveness, OpenEP creates above-average added value for its shareholders and customers, which in turn increases their competitive advantage.

Company policy

Customers
The focus of OpenEP is on offering procurement services and in procuring natural gas for its customers. Primary customers are companies that are also shareholders. OpenEP also provides its services to customers outside the shareholder group where appropriate market opportunities arise. These transactions offer economies of scale.

Customers see OpenEP as a platform that bundles expertise and resources to use synergies and economies of scale in natural gas procurement, thereby increasing their competitiveness. For OpenEP customers, the focus is on quality and efficiency in the services they receive. OpenEP constantly optimises its processes and is committed to the idea of continuous improvement. For OpenEP, having a high quality standard at all levels is a matter of course.

Owners
For the owners of OpenEP, the focus is not on profit maximisation but on the quality and efficiency of services they provide to customers. There is no primary dividend target to be expected from OpenEP.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is involved in all of OpenEP’s business activities with the aim of developing appropriate, forward-thinking strategic guidelines. It expects OpenEP to implement the strategic guidelines in compliance with all applicable provisions in areas such as compliance and risk management.

Employees
